The 2013 National Youth Health Conference will showcase work being done across the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together youth health practitioners with leading researchers to invigorate evidence-based practice.
To be held in Perth from 13 to 15 November 2013, the event will be hosted by the Australian Association for Adolescent Health.
Keynote speakers Dr Deborah Christie, leading adolescent research psychologist, and Prof George Patton, renowned for his research into global adolescent health patterns, will join a range of other speakers to explore evidence informing international youth health practice.
The 2013 conference will endeavour to improve delegates’ skills, improve their knowledge of young people’s access to services and how to reach young people, provide an avenue for young people to contribute to a global conversation about their health, and present the latest evidence base in youth health.
